TERMS

Before you begin, see what the product can and cannot do.

This page provides a public terms summary. Connection or features needing additional data processing may require separate notice and consent.

Who may use Noesis

Noesis is for adults using a non-clinical self-reflection product. Do not use it as a substitute for emergency, medical, diagnostic, treatment, legal, financial, or other qualified professional judgment.

Accounts and connection

Where a feature requires an account, browser authorization, or stored results, follow the flow presented for that feature. Installation steps are published only for a client named in the public supported-client record, which today is Claude, installed through the GitHub repository flow and connected from a browser or the desktop app; this is not a Claude Plugin Store listing. An MCP client, version, platform, or capability absent from that record is not supported.

Separate data permissions

For memory distillation, provide only the conversations or memory excerpts relevant to the goal you choose. Noesis does not request an all-at-once export of any AI-service account archive.

The seven data purposes below are off by default and take effect only after you enable each one separately on the account page. You may withdraw any one independently without disabling score-only use or the OAuth connection.

One, account-linked result storage. A result you or a connected AI assistant submits is stored with your account, including the instrument name, a source marker, the scored result, and your own optional confidence rating.

Two, research use. Your stored results may be used in de-identified form to evaluate and improve the service. This clause describes the scope of the permission; it does not state that any specific research activity is currently running.

Three, a running profile summary. A connected AI assistant may write and re-read one running summary of what you have chosen to share, kept across up to 16 narrative dimensions and six self-described context fields (age range, gender identity, region, nationality, languages, and occupation); it may include medication habits or financial circumstances you mentioned, but Noesis does not ask you to provide them. Only information available to the connected assistant and chosen for sharing is included, and fields may remain empty. A connected AI assistant reading it back sees only the latest one; each update is in fact stored as its own dated snapshot rather than overwritten, and the full history is included in your data-copy request.

Four, notes on results. You may attach one free-text note to a single stored result, kept with that result. A connected AI assistant reading that result also reads the note.

Five, journal. A connected AI assistant may save dated journal entries you choose to share, including the entry text and any category tags. Whether a particular assistant may later read a particular entry is a separate permission you grant per assistant, purpose, category, and date range.

Product updates, meaning occasional product email, are also an independent choice and are off by default. A small number of special-category items have separate, intent-triggered consent and are never pre-enabled at account creation or connection.

Retained conversation context: only qualitative candidates that you review and select are retained in your account. A connected AI assistant still needs a separate, scoped, time-limited grant to read that context.

Use-case journey history: records the use-case choices, reordered items, and prompt-copy actions you make on the use-cases page; it does not store prompt text and is off by default.

To stop a purpose, withdraw it independently on the account page at any time. Withdrawal applies going forward and does not by itself delete data already stored lawfully; to ask for existing account data to be deleted, use the account deletion request on the account page. Account-data copies require a separate request and identity verification; Noesis does not offer a one-click download of the entire account.

Service and terms changes

We may adjust the service for security, availability, legal, or product reasons.

We may amend these terms — wording, contact details, how we describe the service, or amendment mechanics — and for a material wording change we give at least 30 days advance notice by email to the address on your account before it takes effect.

No action is required for a wording change: continuing to use the service on or after the effective date counts as acceptance of the amended terms, and your connection, your account, and how your data is processed are not affected by this kind of change.

If the scope of the adult account agreement changes, the old policy version becomes stale after the effective date and you must explicitly confirm the new version before score-only or connected access resumes. A policy update never silently expands result storage, research, profile, notes, journal, conversation-context, use-case-history, or marketing permissions; those remain whatever you most recently selected separately.

The current terms wording version is noesis-terms-v2-2026-09-05, last amended 2026-09-05.
